Thankful

Being without you would be like being without the air that I breathe, a struggle to survive.
I can't help remember  thinking that there isn’t anything else in life that would make me happier than having you by my side for the rest of my life. It was with great nervousness and knees of jelly  that I asked you to marry me.
Every since the day we said I do my love and admiration for you has grown to the highest of high.
We’ve laughed, cried and endured the ups and downs life has thrown in our path.
It’s true what they say that true love can overcome any obstacle life has to offer.
We have been supportive of one another and at times too stubborn to listen to reason but at the end of the day we lay our burdens down and awake in each other’s arms.
People often ask what the secret to love and maintaining longevity is?
It’s the unbending faith in one another even when walking against a relentless wind.
It’s not giving in to the whispers of temptation and holding steadfast through joys and frustrations but most of all it’s a challenge you must be willing to accept and prepared to die for.
Love is looking into the eyes of your partner and seeing your life for what it was and what it has come to be and knowing that there is no place on this earth where you could find such peace.
Thank you for your smile for it brightens my day and fills my heart with joy.
Thank you for giving me the most precious gifts since you, our children.
Thank you to your parents for entrusting me with the love that came from them and pours through your soul.
For with you I am grateful and fulfilled.
